She was born Nov. 3, 1943 in Shelby, the daughter of Henry and Alice (Camber) Kemstra. She married Raymond Dodson July 17, 1964. He preceded her in death in 1966. Nan lived in Shelby her entire life with the exception of two years in Indiana and Illinois. She had sold Stanley Products and had worked for Dr. Davidson. She was active in her community and church. Nan served on the board of directors for Oceana County Good Samaritans for many years.
Funeral service Monday, Jan. 7, 2 p.m. at Shelby Road Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Sterken officiating. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shelby. Memorials to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Muskegon-Oceana are appreciated. Arrangements by Cooper-Harris Funeral Home, Shelby.
