English Royalty. Born the eldest child of Roger de Mortimer, 4th Earl of March and Alianore de Holand in Westmeath, Ireland. She married Richard, Earl of Cambridge in May 1406, with whom she had two surviving children, including Richard Plantagenet, 3rd Duke of York, and subsequently she was the grandmother of Edward IV and Richard III. She died after almost five years of marriage, probably in childbirth.
