Originally interred in Kings Langley Priory in the Convent Chapel. After the Dissolution of the Monestaries, the chapel was in disrepair and her body and the bodies of her father and mother in law, Edmund of Langley and Isabel of Castile were all reburied at the Church of All Saints.

Anne was of the aristocracy, with 600 years of royal blood of kings within her. She married her cousin Richard of Conisburgh, the grandson of King Edward III. Richard's parents were Edmund of Langley, Duke of York and Isabel, the daughter of the King of Castile. He was considered to be the poorest of all of the earls. They had three children, Henry (died in infancy), Isabel and Richard. It is speculated that with Richard, she died in childbirth. Her husband Richard, who had acquired the title of Earl of Cambridge, had conspired with other lords to overthrow King Henry V to place Anne's brother, Edmund Mortimer on the throne. He confessed to King Henry, who had him beheaded August 5, 1415 for treason. Anne was the grandmother of Kings Edward IV and his brother Richard III, great grandmother of Henry V and Henry VIII, and great great grandmother of King Edward VI, Queen Mary I, Elizabeth I and Mary Queen of Scots.
