DOWNS--- Alice M. Marr, 88, Downs, died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 1995, at Downs Nursing Center.
Mrs. Marr was born, Alice M. Travis on April 4, 1907, at Lucas and was a resident of Downs since 1977, moving from Russell. She was a homemaker and member of the Assembly of God Church.
Her husband Cecil, died in 1968.
Survivors include two daughters, Evelyn Williams of Alton, and LaRita Shipley, of Adrian, Mo.; a sister, Nell Shaffer of Bunker Hill; 10 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Clark-Gashaw Chapel, Osborne, the Rev. Don Goatley officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Brunner, Mo., Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Disease Association or Down's Nursing Center.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the mortuary, 238 N. First, Osborne, 67473.
