James M. Edwards Buried in Buckingham Cemetery Friday

James McCosh Edwards, 50, of Cedar Heights, vice president of the Associated Manufacturers company, Waterloo, who died at the University hospital at Iowa City on Tuesday of last: week, was buried in Buckingham cemetery, near Traer, last Friday afternoon. Mr. Edwards was an experimental engineer and had patented many devices. He was mayor of Cedar Heights six years. The funeral was at 1:30 Friday at Cedar Heights Community church, conducted by the Rev. J. A. Laurie, a large crowd attending.

Mr. Edwards’ death was caused by pneumonia complicated by heart trouble. He was born in Waterloo January 1, 1884 and most of his life was spent there. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Luther H. Edwards, well known in Traer. His deceased father was one-time postmaster in Waterloo. His mother, who survives is a sister of “Tama Jim” and Miss Flora Wilson. He is survived by his wife and three children.
