Son of Henry & Alexander's mother was Lucy Morgan (Fish) Avery
Married Dec. 16, 1834 to Alice Rosetta Howe at Sterling, PA.
He was a farmer and they moved to Mendota, Iowa before 1858.
They had five children all born in Salem, PA.
I think the Mendota, Iowa is supposed to be Mendota, Illinois. That is where the daughter lived & I don't think there is one in Iowa. Sorry but that was what was wrote down. Also when I checked the 1870 Census for Story Co., Iowa his birth is listed as Conn. I wish I knew the other childrens names. Haven't found his mother yet."
