THOMAS --Funeral services for James Milton Frans, 83, will be a 2 p.m. Friday in the Church of the First Born near Fay, with Rev. Herbert Sisson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery near Fay.
Frans, a retired pioneer farmer, died at his home in Thomas Tuesday morning.
He homesteaded northwest of Thomas more than 60 years ago and later moved to a farm near Fay. He had lived in Thomas the past 15 years.
Survivors include his wife, four sons, Allen of Nampa, Ida., Hubert of Caldwell, Ida, Elvin of Gamarillo, Calif., and Morty of Thomas; seven daughters, Mrs. Tommy Hales, Rogers, Ark., Mrs. Lola Kirkpatrick and Mrs. Harry Humphrey, both of Fay, Mrs. Vernon Carr, Siloam Springs, Ark., Mrs. Orlan Cargill and Mrs. Sterlin Cragill, both of Oxnard, Calif., and Mrs. Don Cornelius, Purcell.
Also surviving are one sister, Miss Arda E. Frans, Siloam Springs; two brothers, William of Thomas and Allen of Meeteetsee, Wyo; 32 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren."
