KILLIAN - Fred J. Killian, 89,
of 2859 Stenzel Ave., formerly of
Ransom St., both North Tonawanda,
died Friday (May 12,1961) at
the Hilltop Nursing Home, Gas-
port, N. Y., after a brief illness.
Born in the Town of Pendleton,
Mr. Killian had resided in North
Tonawanda for the past 43 years
and was employed for more than
25 years at The Wurlitzer Co.
before retiring in 1942. He was a
member of Friedens United
Church of Christ. His wife, the
late Mary E. Boyer Killian, died
in October 1955. Surviving are two
sons, Calvin H. of Niagara Falls,
N.Y., and Emmett F.; four daughters,
Mrs. Verna E. Martin, Mrs.
William Wankosky, Mrs. Ray-
mond J. Bach and Mrs. Peter
Gross, all of the Tonawandas;
nine grandchildren, 16 great
grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs.
Anna Moll of North Tonawanda.
Friends may call at Hamp Funeral
Home Inc., 37 Adam St., Tonawanda,
where services will be conducted
at 2 p.m. Monday. The
Rev. Carl Marks will officiate.
Burial in Bear Ridge Cemetery.
