Chico Record, Saturday Morning, November 2, 1918, pg 5 col 5: Floyd Kenyon of Chico Dies in Sonoma County. The remains of Floyd Kenyon member of a well-known Chico family, who died Tuesday in Sonoma county, reached here yesterday, and funeral services will be held at 3 o’clock this afternoon at the Engel chapel, E.A. Opsal of the Latter Day Saints officiating. Interment will be in Chico Cemetery.
Kenyon was born in Lassen county, April 22, 1892. He resided in Chico about twenty years and attended local schools.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.M. Kenyon of Chico; his grandmother, Mrs. J.G. Hensley of Chico, and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. A.F. Pearson of San Francisco, Mrs. George L. White of Willits, Mrs. L.G. Pratt and Mrs. Jesse Chandler of Chico, Mrs. Oscar Batham of Nelson, E.R. Kenyon of Brownsville, A.A. Kenyon of Hamilton City and Roy and Clyde Kenyon of Chico.
26-year-old Floyd Kenyon was interred, per the Chico Cemetery Association Records, in the plot noted, on November 2, 1918.
