The following contributed by mishpocha99: Charles Marinus Kenyon Jr. was the 4th of 8 children born to Charles Marinus and Eliza Jane Hester Kenyon. Charles (the father) was one of 4 brothers to migrate from their home in Lee, Oneida County, NY to Missouri and then on to California. Charles (the son) was born shortly after arriving in CA the first time. The family soon left CA traveling back to Missouri to visit family. When the family returned they settled in Shasta Co., CA where 2 of Charles (the father) brothers were living, Francis (Frank) and William Kenyon.
Charles (the son) married Sarah Elizabeth Hensley in 1879 and they were parents to 11 children: Hattie, Evie, George, Everett, Andrew, Mary, Floyd, Roy, Nellie, Clyde and Susie.

Kenyon, who died Saturday morning at the home of his daughter in Pentz, were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon in the chapel of the Westfall Funeral Home, the Rev. Harris Pillsbury of the Presbyterian church officiating.
