Miss Ruth Mikel
DOWNS -- Miss Ruth F. Mikel, 60, died of cancer at her home at 12:45 p. m. Saturday.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Stensel Funeral Home in Le Roy. The Rev. Paul Simpkins will officiate, and burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Miss Mikel was born Nov. 13, 1899, at Downs , a daughter of Almer and Nettie Craig Mikel.
Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Rachel Roe, Champaign; Mrs. Ferne Knudsen, Brazil, Ind.: Mrs. Dorothy McCoy, Harrisburg, Pa.; Mrs. Maurene Phillips, Downs. Her parent and two brothers preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Downs Methodist Church.
