Mr. Anderson was born Oct. 15,1912, in Botbwell, a son of Rasmus and Mary Johnson Anderson.
He was married to Mabel Raye Calderwood on Nov. 29, 1933. in the Logan LDS Temple.
He was a graduate of Bear River High School.
He was an elder in the Bothwell LDS Ward and had served as a member of the Sunday School superintendency and as a counselor and president of the YMMIA. He was a past member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce in Tremonton and a charter member of the Box Elder County Sheriff's Posse. He was active in community athletics.
Surviving are his widow of Bothwell; two sons and one daughter, Dennis Reed Anderson. Arizona; Steven J Anderson. Grace. Idaho; Mrs. Delond K. (Roberta) Cole, Wlllard; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are four brothers and eight sisters, Milton J Anderson, Thatcher; Cleon Anderson, Clyde Anderson, Ogden Anderson, Mrs. Leo (Mable) Stokes, Mrs. Henry (Estella) Newman, Mrs. Cecil (Wanda) Newman, all of Bothwell; Mrs. Rheta Adams, Mrs. Alice Roche, Mrs. Amy Alien, Mrs. Dean (Ruby) Orwin, all of Tremonton; Mrs. Vera Smith, Preston, Idaho.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 12 noon in the Bothwell LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop LeRoy Firth officiating.
Friends may call at the Rogers Mortuary in Tremonton Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Burial in the Bothwell Valley View Cemetery.
