Mrs. Walter (Lila Jane) Kienbaum, 62, of 22516 Mueller Road, Kiel, died Saturday at her home.
She was born Nov. 23, 1924, in the town of Mitchell a daughter of the late William and Ottilie Matthies Bartelt. She attended Kewaskum High School.
On Oct. 31, 1958, she married Walter Kienbaum in Dubuque, Iowa. For the past 20 years, she worked at Chilton Metal Products in Chilton. Before that she worked at Kohler Co. for a number of years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Kiel.
Surviving are her husband; six sons, Kurt Meyers of Chilton, Thomas and Timothy Kienbaum, both of Kiel, Keith Kienbaum of Rockville, Matthew and Mark both at home; a daughter, Kathleen Kienbaum of New Holstein; eight grandchildren; three brothers, Orlando Bartelt of Plymouth, Vilas Bartelt of Cascade and Orville Bartelt of St. Louis, Mo.; and a sister, Mrs. Thomas (Darlene) Collier of Milwaukee. A daughter, two brothers, and a sister preceded her in death.
The funeral service will be Tuesday at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, in Kiel. The Rev. Richard Warnke, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Kiel, will be officiant. Burial will be in Kiel Cemetery.
