She was a member of First United Methodist Church, a native of Winn Parish and a member of Spicer Wallace Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include one son, Arthur Talton of Athens, Texas; two daughters, Janice Morgan of Clark[s]ville, Tenn., and Corinne Swanson of Winnfield; one sister, Alma Gaar Dillon of Shreveport; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were at 11 a.m. today in the chapel of Southern with the Rev. Grayson Watson officiating. Burial was in Winnfield City Cemetery.
