Mrs. Herle Lowe
Alta Elizabeth Mileger, daughter of August and Millie Mileger, was born January 21, 1901, on a farm near Davenport, Nebraska and died at the St Elizabeth hospital in Lincoln on September 28 at the age of 34 years, 8 months and 7 days.
She was married July 19, 1927, to Herle Lowe of Thedford, Nebraska.
To this union three children were born, a baby boy dying in infancy; Joan, 4 years old, and Rogene Lee, 20 months old.
She leaves to mourn her loss besides her devoted husband and children, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. August Mileger of Edgar, six sisters and six brothers, Oscar, Ralph and Ray of Edgar, Mrs. Alma Smith, her twin sister of Clay Center, Nebr.; Mrs. Iva Dodder of Flint, Mich.; William M. of Wilcox, Nebr.; Mrs. Evelyn Flotz of Flint, Mich.; Harold Mileger of Caldwell, Idaho; Edith Mileger of Flint, Mich.; and Faye, Geraldine and Gerald at home.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2:30 at the Christian Church with Rev C. V. Smith in charge. Music was furnished by a mixed quartet comprised of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Jacobsen, Gladys Wagar and Rev Smith. Accompanist was Mrs. L. E. Hunter at the piano. They sang, "In the Garden.' "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "The Old Rugged Cross." Interment was made in the Edgar Cemetery.
