BETTY GAYE ROGERS METCALF
Betty Rogers Metcalf, 64, of 1147 Glenn Bridge Road, Arden, N.C. died peacefully, Tuesday, October 11, 1994, at her home.
A native of Madison County, N.C., she was a daughter of the late John Nelson Rogers and Charlotte Huntsinger Rogers and was married to James Blane Metcalf who died in 1972. She was a member of the Words of Life Tabernacle.
She was survived by her daughters, Clarissa Robinson of Fletcher, N.C., Linda Surrett of Leicester, N.C.; sons, Bruce, Michael, and Randy Metcalf of Arden, N.C.; sister, Chloe Riddle of Weaverville, N.C.; 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 13, 1994 at Groce Funeral Home with the Revs. James Lee and Carl Bishop officiating. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
