Thomas Monroe Rush was born Nov. 9, 1894 in Swedeborg, Pulaski, Missouri to John Alfred and Louisa Isabelle Sheeley Rush. In 1900 his family lived in Tavern Township (West Part), Pulaski, Missouri. They then moved to Pryor, Indian Territory, Oklahoma, where his oldest brother James Wesley lived with his family. The the family moved to Hogan, Mayes, Oklahoma in 1910. He went to school at Dist. No. One in Mayes County, Okla. and finished school on June 30, 1912. In 1915 his family moved to Longmont, Boulder, Colo. He registered for the WWI draft on June 5, 1917. Thomas married Mary Louise Huppe Beuerman in Nov. 1921 at Longmont, Colo.

Mr. Rush owned a service station in Longmont, and had previously worked at a packing company making cans. He passed away on March 29, 1950 in Longmont.

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Gertrude Lulu Rush, Katherine Francis Winder, and Lepha Anna Bane; one brother, Clarence Rush. He is survived by one sister, Hattie LaVada Devers and five brothers, James Wesley, Alfred Cleveland, Alty Melvin, Ralph Otis and Boss Herbert Rush.

His services are at the Lewellen Funeral Home, Longmont on April 1, 1950 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. John Newton will officiate the service, with organist Mrs. H. E. Brewbaker and soloist Andy Englert. The pall bearers are Andy Bashor, William Hoff, William Nickell, Ray Nicks, Roy Barbour and Herschell Ray. Concluding services are at the Mountain View Cemetery in Longmont. Veterens of Foreign Wars in Charge of Military Honors.

Mrs. Anna Bane died of a heart attack in Pueblo Hospital today (4/10/1950). She had been a patient for thirteen years. She was the sister of Tom Rush who died March 29.

She was born in Swedeborg MO , November 5, 1930.

She moved to Longmont in 1918.

She is survived by her spouse Albert of Longmont, sons Otis O. Bane of Longmont; Albert Bane of Pueblo and John M Bane of Denver and a daughter Mrs. John ( Alice ) Litzenberger, five brothers and one sister.

The funeral is Wednesday April 12th in Longmont.
