You have my permission to use headstone photos that I have posted for your genealogy record.
I'm a native of Longmont, CO. I'v been interested in genealogy since the early 1960's but I did take time off to marry and raise a family. Research is much easier now then it was 40 years ago. The Denver Library and Federal Archives are not far away and that has been a help.
I started taking memorial photos but my husband didn't come with me until after a visit to a cemetery that was on a one lane road on the side of a mountain. After that he was hooked. The markers were very old and very interesting, so now he willing walks around a cemetery with me as we locate the markers that were requested. He trims the grass and pulls the weeds around the markers to be sure I get a good photo. We also stop and visit relatives and friends and look at interesting markers. The two remarks on markers I have really liked are & I quote "This is the only stone she left unturned" and "I told you I was sick".
