Services Fri. For Mrs. J. Grossart-

Mrs. John Grossart died unexpectedly at her home in Wolbach Monday morning. She had been a resident of Howard County and the Wolbach community her entire life.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Trinity Lutheran church at Wolbach with Rev. H. Vorrath officiating. McIntyre-Jacobsen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers are all nephews, Leon Berney, Laurence Berney, Loyal Berney, Jose Grossart, Glen Grossart and Wm. Grossart Jr.

Mrs. Wm Paulman Jr., Mrs. George Cordes, Mrs. Francis Kolar, Mrs. Larry Steenson and Mrs. Robert Nealon will sing "Old Rugged Cross" and "My Faith Looks Up to Thee," accompanied by the organist Mrs. Clarence Thayer.

Lena Grossart was born April 26, 1890 to Joseph and Ursula Berney on a farm northeast of Wolbach. She departed this life at her home in Wolbach on March 12, 1962 at the age of 71 years, 10 months and 14 days. She grew to womanhood in the Wolbach community and on July 29, 1908 she and John Grossart were married at Greeley, Nebraska. They lived on a farm south of Wolbach for many years before moving into town, where they have resided for the past several years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and three brothers.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, John; a daughter, Mrs. Nina Holm of Wolbach; a son, Victor of Wolbach; three grandchildren, Sandra and Steve Grossart and Connie Holm; two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Grossart and Mrs. Emma Grossart of Wolbach; two brothers, Peter Berney and John Berney of Wolbach.
