Mr. Beasley was a lifelong resident of Pembroke, a former heavy equipment operator for the Department of Transportation, and attended Pembroke Holy Church of God. He enjoyed fishing, playing the guitar, and was handy at rebuilding small engines.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Leroy and Bernice Beasley.
Survivors include his life's companion Mary Foraker of Pembroke; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Daniel and Christina Beasley of Register, Jackie Edward and Jennifer Beasley of Brooklet and Jamie Beasley of Statesboro; one daughter and son-in-law, Brandy and Todd Palmer of Vidalia; two brothers and three sisters-in-law, Meady Jr. and Nancy Beasley of Ellabell, Jimmy and Debbie Beasley of Bulloch County and Patty Beasley of Pembroke; one sister and brother-in-law, Jeannette and Larry Bacon of Pembroke; 10 grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was Tuesday afternoon in the chapel of Flanders Morrison Funeral Home with the Rev. Lawrence Butler officiating. Burial followed in Northside Cemetery.
Flanders Morrison Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
