MOCKSVILLE - Mr. Jesse Gray Beck, 87, of Mocksville, passed away Monday, October 25, 2010. He was born April 3, 1923 in Forsyth County to Noah Winfield and Nancy Teague Beck. Mr. Beck was an electrician by craft and served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He is survived by his wife, Alyce Nichols Beck; two daughters, Rhonda B. Kimball and Bridgett Beck; a son, Blaine Beck and wife Marcia; three grandchildren, Sean W. Kimball and Miriam and Rachel Beck; four brothers and two sisters. A funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Center Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Mark Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Hospice and Palliative Care, 377 Hospital Street, Suite 103, Mocksville, NC 27023.
