Mr. Jimmy Terry Beck, 85, passed away February 14, 2022 in his home. He was born May 13, 1936 to Noah W. Beck and Nannie Teague Beck.

Jim was preceded in death by the love of his life, Elizabeth B. Beck, after 54 years of marriage.

Surviving are two daughters, Terri (Kenny) Hamm, and Vicki (Todd) Waddell, two granddaughters, Jennifer (Scott) Graham and Allison (Michael) Nutter, and two great-grandchildren, Landon Graham and Kayleigh Graham.

The youngest of nine children, Jim was preceded in death by brothers N. W. Beck, Jesse G. Beck, Clifton E. Beck, Henry M. Beck, Bobby G. Beck, and Sammy L. Beck, and two sisters, Wilma A. Smith and Nancy C. Mickey.

He graduated from Walkertown High School in 1956 and went on to serve in the Marine Corps National Guard and the US Army. Jim retired from the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School System.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel on Wednesday February 16, 2022.

There will be a private family Graveside Service at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons, NC.
