Jacki Barnett was born June 23, 1958 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Jack Dillard and Anna Belle (Dreadfulwater) Candy. As a celebration of the beginning of their new life together, she chose the first day of spring to marry her husband, Barney Barnett. Jacki loved spending time with her family and made sure she was involved with any activities that her children were doing. She coached little league softball, was involved with the P.T.O., liked to quilt, and spent time serving at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Skiatook where she was a member. Jacki was very creative and was always making things. She was a generous person to all who knew her and was always willing to help anyone in need. Jacki enjoyed life to the fullest and tried to never waste a moment. Jacki Barnett passed away at the age of 52 on Tuesday, October 26, 2010, after a long and courageous battle with leukemia. She was preceded in death by her father, her grandparents Fannie and Dick Manes, her step-father, Roy Candy, an aunt, Mary A'Neal, and an infant brother, Dickie Dale Candy. Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at the Hart Funeral Home Chapel in Tahlequah, with Pastor Allen Nevel presiding. Interment will follow at Molly Field Cemetery.
