Mrs. Ann Bliss
Mrs. Ann Bliss, 84 years old, for many years a resident of Johnson county [MO.], died Monday at the home of her son at Atwood, Kan. The body will be brought to this city for burial. Funeral arrangements have not been made.
Mrs. Bliss was born in New York [state]. She came to this section with her husband seventeen years ago. Eight years ago her husband died. Three years ago Mrs. Bliss moved to Atwood to make her home with her son, Edgar.
Three children survive her as follows: Mrs. Alice Thompson, Clarksville, Ia.; Charles C. Bliss, Dudley, Mo.; Edgar A. Bliss, Atwood Kan.
Mrs. Bliss is well and favorably known in this city. She was an active member of the Mt. Zion [Baptist] church during her residence in Johnson county. She was a good Christian woman, loved by all who knew her.
