Nobility. Born the youngest child of Ferdinando I de Medici and Christine de Lorraine. She married Federico Ubaldo della Rovere in 1621 who died two years after the wedding and she returned to Florence. When she married Leopold V in 1626 she left her young daughter Vittoria della Rovere with her mother Christine. She bore Leopold five children but she was widowed after only six years. She successfully acted as regent for her son Ferdinand Karl.
