Italian nobility. Born the only child of Federico Ubaldo della Rovere and Claudia de Medici. Her father died one year after her birth and her mother returned to Florence. She was promised to her cousin in 1624. When her mother remarried in 1626 she left Vittoria in Florence with her grandmother. In 1631, she inherited her grandfather's art collection and had it transferred to Florence. It is now part of the Uffizi Gallery.
