Major - 19th Tennesee Infantry Regiment. Transfered to Company G of the 14th Virginia Cavalry Regiment because of climate. Was in hospital at Lynchburg on way to 14th Cav. and fought in battle of Lynchburg. Source-Soldier's Home records. The Albemarle County cemetery book, VOL X, Page 232 gives the date of death as 5 March 1913.
