Irvan, of Lamesa, TX. died at the Methodist Hospital in Lubbock, TX. on Tuesday.

Irvan Homer Ashley, 72, moved to Lamesa, Texas in 1952 from Centralia, Illinois. He had been a member of Northside Baptist Church in Lamesa since 1956. Mr Ashley was a retired implement salesman.
Survived by his wife; four daughters- Alice Kidd, Vera Levacy, Linda Wyse, Lena Scott; two sons - Irvan L. Ashley and Garland E. Ashley; two sisters - Edith Hardin and Leta Harrell; 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister; six brothers.
