Margie J. Holifer, 87, of Paynesville died on Wednesday, April 21, at the Koronis Manor in Paynesville.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 24, at Grace United Methodist Church in Paynesville. Burial was in the Paynesville Cemetery.

Margie Jane Holifer was born on Sept. 21, 1922, in Union Grove Township to Joseph and Martha (Harris) Flanders.

She graduated from Litchfield High School.

She was a homemaker and later became the head teller at Community First Bank in Paynesville.

She later married Donald Holifer.

Margie is survived by her children, Richard (Beverly) Schwartz of New London and Bonnie Schwartz of Paynesville; six grandchildren; and sisters-in-law.

She was preceded in death by her husband; 13 brothers and sisters; and a grandson.
