Mr John Peterson, born August 1, 1823 Sweden, one of the oldest residents of this place died here on Wednesday morning, October 9, 1912 at 4 a.m. at the advanced age of 89 years. Mr Peterson has been a resident here for many years and for a number of years has been quite feeble. He is survived by his wife, Mrs Sophia Peterson and three sons, Theodore and Walter of Aneta, North Dakota and Oscar of Superior, Wisconsin. The funeral took place from the residence on Thursday afternoon. Reverend Trica Constanople Officiating.
