Funeral services for Dennis Lester Collins, 29-year-old welder, will be held at McAlister's chapel at 3 PM today.
The Rev Pierce Z Cook, pastor of Trinity Methodist church will officiate and burial will be in Bethany cemetery. Pallbearers will be W E Brabham, A R Cloud, A O Sharpe, John Benton, T B Lee and J H Lee.
Mr Collins of 36 Society Street was killed Monday by a railroad locomotive when he tripped and fell on the tracks at the West Virginia Pulp and Paper Company plant. He was employed by the Tidewater Construction Company.
Born at Oak Park, GA, February 28, 1920, Mr Collins was a son of Mack Lester Collins and Mabelle Faircloth Collins, both of Georgia.
He was a member of Trinity Methodist Church and Iron workers local 601.
