OAK PARK - Mack Lester Collins, 95, died Saturday in the Candler County Hospital in Metter after a long illness.
He was a lifelong resident of Emanuel County, a retired farmer and a member of the Lower Corinth Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs Katie Griswold of Metter, Mrs. Mildred Edenfield of Macon and Mrs. Adeline Hartley of Savannah; three sons, Olliff Collins of Lexsy, Charlie E. Collins of Oak Park and Ivey Lee Collins of Savannah; two sisters, Mrs Mettie Dillinger Of Homestead, Florida and Mrs. Ellie Cannady of Metter; 21 Grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Monday at 4:30 p.m. in the Lower Corinth Freewill Baptist Church. Internment was in the Oak Park Cemetery.
Cooper Funeral Home of Lyons was in charge of arrangements.
