Mrs. Katie Collins Griswold, 85
METTER - Services for Mrs. Katie Collins Griswold, 85, were held Sunday at 3 p.m. from Hooks Chapel. Burial will be in Cool Spring Cemetery.
She died Saturday in Candler County Hospital after an extended illness.
Mrs. Griswold, a native of Oak Park, had lived in Metter for the pastt 66 years. She was a dietician and homemaker and member of Metter Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Ralph Collins and Ray Collins, both of Panama City, Florida; one daughter; Mildred Collins Johnson of White Oak; two brothers, Charlie Collins of Oak Park and Ivy Lee Collins of Savannah and one sister, Mildred Collins Edenfield of Macon.
Kennedy-Morgan Funeral Home of Metter had charge of arrangements.
