Mrs. Rosia Chambers Russell, 50, R. F. D. 6, Ebenezer Road, died Friday morning after an extended illness. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in Sandy Plains Baptist Church with Rev. L. L. Fortner and Rev. K. B. Robertson officiating. Interment will be in Sandy Plains North Cemetery. Nephews will serve as pallbearers and are to meet at the residence at 1:30 p.m. Mrs. Russell is survived by her husband, Grady Russell; mother, Mrs. P. L. Chambers, Whitesburg; three brothers, Cas Chambers and Robert Chambers of Marietta, and Cliff Chambers of Charlotte, N.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Oma Moon of Atlanta and Mrs. Flora Ledford of Whitesburg; several nieces and nephews. The remains will be at the funeral home until 9 a.m. Saturday and then will be taken to the Russell home. Albert M. Dobbins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
