Nineveh area resident Deloris Ashley Marshall died Tuesday, 11/26/1996, at Homeview Center in Franklin. She was 81.
Mrs. Marshall was born 8/1/1915, in Shelbyville to Otto and Cecil Faye McCarty Ashley.
She and Dale Marshall were married 2/24/1937. He died 9/15/1989.
Mrs. Marshall had worked as a sorter at Varynit Mills in Franklin for 23 years, retiring in 1977.
She was a member of Edinburgh's Apostolic Tabernacle Church.
Survivors include a son, John Dale Marshall of Nineveh, 5 sisters, Vanessa Cole of Venice, FL, Irene Coffman of Whiteland, Reba Peck and Joan Patterson, both of Franklin, and Patty Brown of Taylorsville; a brother, Ossie Ashley of Paragon; 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Johnson County's Nineveh Cemetery.
