VELMA M. KRUSE, 96, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, March 3, 2008, at Woodview Health Care. She was born on April 10, 1911, in Auburn. She was a homemak er and member of Emmaus Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid Society of the church.
Surviving are her son, David Kruse of Fort Wayne; daughter, Karen Winger of Los Altos, Calif.; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Herbert Bultemeier of Elkhart; and sister, Marcella Stephenson of Fort Wayne.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gustav H. Kruse, in 1992; and daughter, Marlene Obst.
Funeral service is 1 p.m. Saturday at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, with visitation from 11 a.m. until time of service.
