He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, the Zion Lutheran Men's Club and The Lutheran Layman League.
Surviving are his wife, Beatrice; two daughters, Ruth Ann and Linda Kay; two sons, Paul and Ronald, all at home; three sisters, Mrs. Velma Kruse and Mrs. Marcella Stephenson, both of Fort Wayne and Mrs. Hilda Sher, Independence, Mo., two brothers, Herbert of Fort Wayne and Robert of Fort Wayne, and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernst Bultemeier of Fort Wayne.
