Wilbert C. Bultemeier, 38, who had been assistant manager of several A&P grocery stores in Fort Wayne, died at 10:07 p.m. yesterday in his home at 3917 Buell Drive. He had been ill eight months.
He had worked with the grocery chain for 17 years and had been in the grocery business the last 25 years. He was a resident of Fort Wayne for 25 years.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, the Zion Lutheran Men's Club and The Lutheran Layman League.
Surviving are his wife, Beatrice; two daughters, Ruth Ann and Linda Kay; two sons, Paul and Ronald, all at home; three sisters, Mrs. Velma Kruse and Mrs. Marcella Stephenson, both of Fort Wayne and Mrs. Hilda Sher, Independence, Mo., two brothers, Herbert of Fort Wayne and Robert of Fort Wayne, and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernst Bultemeier of Fort Wayne.
