Son of Daniel C. Quick and Hattie Ann Neal Quick of Johnson Co., Missouri. He signed his name as Claude Churchel Quick in the WWI draft registration. His father's middle name is thought to be Church or Churchill, which seems to be a family name coming from a man named Daniel Churchill who was raised by Claude's GG grandfather James Loudon (Louden) Preist Sr. of Ashland Co. Ohio. He was named Claudis Quick in the distribution of his father's estate on Jan. 29, 1891. His death certificate from Maricopa county states his place of burial is Forest Lawn, which is a part of Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery and his middle name is just listed as C. I think his born middle name was Claudis Churchill Quick. He died in the County T.B. Hospital, of tuberculosis. He was never married that I know of. He was a commercial artist...

In his sister Ellen's diary, she mentions him and spells his name Clod.

Tom M. Short II GG grandson of Claude's father Daniel.
