Mrs. V. Alma K. Tredlck Alma K. Tredick, tlurse At LVC, Is Found Dead Today Mrs. V. Alma K. Tredick, 60, campus nurse at Lebanon Val ley College and active commu nity worker, died Thursday night in her sleep. Death was attributed to a coronary attack. Mrs. Tredick, who had given an address to a baby-sitting class at the YMCA Thursday evening, was found dead this morning at her home, 424 S. Fourteenth by a daughter, Miss Priscilla Tredick, with whom she resided. She was the widow of William H. Tredick, a captain In the U.S. Merchant Marine who was killed daring World War Two while on active duty in Panama as a lieutenant commander in the Naval Reserves.
A graduate of the Jefferson Medical College Hospital School of Nursing, Mrs. Tredick served as maternity supervisor at the; Good Samaritan Hospital from 1947 to 1960, when she assumed her duties as college nurse at Lebanon Valley. She was active in the Leba non Community Theater, appearing in a supporting role in its recent production of "Nev er Too Late," and serving as (Continued on Page 2 Col. 5).
