Funeral services for Mrs James Brewer and infant daughter of Kensal will be held Friday at 11 am, in St Paul's Lutheran Church at Kensal and interment will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery, rural Streeter.

The bodies are at Eddy Funeral Home. They died Monday at St Luke's Hospital in Fargo following the birth of the baby.

Mrs Brewer, the former Ella Gums, was born December 29, 1936, at Napoleon, the daughter of Mr and Mrs Edward Gums. She attended rural Napoleon schools and worked for a time at the Jamestown Cafe. Her marriage to James Brewer took place September 17, 1960, in Jamestown, and they lived here for a short time before moving to Kensal where the home has been since. Mrs Brewer was a member of St Paul's Lutheran Church in Kensal.

She is survived by her husband; six children, Burdella, Jeffrey, Bernard, Dale, Jamie and Dorian, all at home; two brothers and two sisters, Elmer Gums, Bismarck; Mrs Gary Dronen (Bernice), Minneapolis; Mrs Donald Roesler (Erma), Williston; and Hilbert Gums, Napoleon. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister in infancy.
