MRS. AL ROLFES FUNERAL FRIDAY
Mrs. Kathleen Rolfes, 27, wife of Al Rolfes of Stanton township, died at Sacred Heart hospital early Tuesday morning following a short illiness. She had become ill Sunday evening and was taken to the hospital the next day when her condition had become critical.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic church in LeMars with the Rev. Msgr. J. D. Fisch officiating. The remains will be at the Wiltgen-Luedtke funeral home until service time.
Kathleen Katherine Thill was born in Remsen, Oct. 29, 1923, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Thill. On Jan. 23, 1946. she married Al Rolfes in St. Mary's church in Remsen. Since their marriage the couple have been farming in Stanton township.
She is survived by her husband, Al and two sons, David and Gary; her parents, one brother, Roland Thill of Remsen and one sister, Mrs. Don Madden of Akron. Also surviving are her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Thill of Remsen. A son, Rodney, died in infancy.
The Catholic Daughters of America will pray the Rosary at the funeral home Thursday evening at 8:30. Burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery.
