Nellie Coffey Hendrix Everett, 80, of Harriman, passed away Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, in Methodist Medical Center, Oak Ridge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Everett; her parents, Lawrence and Essie Coffey; five brothers, Vance, David, Frank, Leonard and Larry; and two sisters, Ruby and Helen.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert and Diane Hendrix, Oakdale, and Ronald Hendrix, Harriman; two sisters, Wanda Abston, Oakdale, and Linda Kilby, Harriman; six grandchildren and three spouses, Miranda and Wes, Randi, Robin and James, Rhonda and Keith, Savannah and Conner; five great-grandchildren, Christopher, Rose, Nathan, Trenton and Kimberly; a host of nieces, nephews, other family friends and loved ones.
The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, in Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral service followed, with the Rev. Tommy Kilby officiating. Burial was at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 15, at Crab Orchard Cemetery, Oakdale.
