COFFEY, MR. FRANKLIN DELANO (BUDDY) - age 66, of Harriman, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 1998, at Fort Sanders Park West Medical Center.

He was interested in reading, Indian artifacts, the Old West, herbal doctoring, kids, dogs and being a good Samaritan. He was a member of the US Air Force and was in the Korean Conflict.


Mr. Coffey was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Essie Coffey; brothers, Vance, Junior and Larry Coffey; sisters, Ruby Coffey and Helen Conner.


He is survived by Carol Ann Hall Coffey and Dot Jenkins; sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy and Brenda Coffey of Lancing, Thaddeus Z. and Regina Coffey of Kingston; daughter, Sonya Coffey and James A. Luffman of Harriman; three grandsons, Josh Coffey of Harriman, Jeremy Coffey of Lancing, Thaddeus "Zachery" Coffey II of Kingston; two granddaughters, Jessica Nicole Coffey of Lancing, Brittany Hendrix of Kingston; two great- grandchildren, Andrew Coffey of Wartburg, Cheyenne Coffey of Lancing; brother, Leonard Coffey of Wartburg; sisters, Nellie Everett of Harriman, Wanda Abston of Kingston, Linda Kilby of Oakdale; brother-in-law, David Hall of Harriman; sister-in-law, Betty Lovin of Greenwood, Ind.; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
