Chris Mullenbach, age 77 years, died at his home near Johnsburg on Tuesday morning after an illness of almost a year.
Mr. Mullenbach was born in Germany and was also married there before coming to this country, about 35 years ago, at which time he took up a homestead about five miles southwest of Adams, where he has since resided.
Mr. Mullenbach was one of the early settlers here and was held in high esteem by all who knew him.
The funeral took place in the Johnsburg Catholic church yesterday morning at 9 o'clock and interment was made in St. John's cemetery.
