GLADYS SHIPMAN
Gladys Shipman, daughter of Isaac and Goldie Shipman, was born November 25, 1929, at Chariton, Iowa and died at her home May 9, 1947, at the age of 17 years, 5 months and 14 days.
She leaves to mourn her passing the parents and three sisters, Mrs. Donald Moore, Mrs. Donald Terrell and Miss Ruth Shipman, all of Chariton, and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charley Wright, also of Chariton, and a host of other relatives. One brother and one sister preceded her in death.
Funeral services, in charge of the Rev. Aleck Ulmet, of the Church of the Nazarene, were held Sunday, May 11 at 2 o'clock at the Beardsley funeral home. Burial was made in the Chariton cemetery.
