BRIDGEWATER - Beverly Hutt Pratte, 71, died Sept. 21, 2010, at her home.

She was born May 13, 1939, in Bridgewater, the daughter of Stanley and Amy (Merriam) Hutt.

She owned and operated the Bridgewater Village Diner for over 20 years.

Mrs. Pratte enjoyed cooking and was known for her pies. She also enjoyed crocheting and flower gardening.

Survivors include six children, Stanley, Chris and David Prior, Nancy Stevens, Roberta and Rebecca Stark; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Nelson and Paul Hutt; many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Pratte; a brother, Donald Hutt; two sisters, Betty and Virginia Hutt; and Fred Meader, for whom she was a caregiver.

Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, at the Cabot Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at Oak Chapel in Bridgewater.

Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Bridgewater.

Memorial contributions may be made to DHMC Palliative Care Unit, Lebanon, N.H.
