Fred Burrer was born July 18, 1937 at McPhearson County, SD to Christ & Rosina (Hagel) Burrer. He graduated from Aberdeen Central High School with the Class of 1955. He attended Northern State College for one year, than enlisted in the US Army in April 1960, where he earned the expert marksman badge. On March 6, 1971, Fred married Judy Bauer at Zion Lutheran Church in Aberdeen. Fred managed Sherwin Williams for many years.
He enjoyed reading, traveling, bowling and decorating for holidays. Fred was an independent and private man.
Fred is survived by his daughter, Jody (Joshua) Vaux, Aberdeen, grandson, Robert, sister, Alma Wagenmann and many nieces & nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and infant son, Kevin Grant Burrer.
