Nita Adams, 89, of Floydada passed away Sunday, Sep. 26, 2010 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sep. 28, 2010 at Lakeview Cemetery with Tom Taylor officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Floydada.

Nita Adams was born on Oct. 5, 1920 to Walter and Ruby (Knight) Craft in Wise County, Texas. She married P.D. Adams, Jr., and they were blessed with one son, Roland Adams. Nita was a homemaker and also worked as a supervisor for over 20 years for the Floydada Junior High Cafeteria. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Floydada.

Nita was preceded in death by her husband, P.D. Adams, Jr., in May of 2009.
