Virginia F. Mead, 74, of 1108 Stanley Drive died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2001, in Gilbert, Ariz. Born Feb. 24, 1926, in Chillicothe to Frank and Grace Schuppert Mooney, she married John "Lennie" Mead on April 12, 1947, in Chillicothe. He preceded her in death. Two brothers also preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons, Dirk of Gilbert and Mark (and Julia) of Chillicothe; three daughters, Pam Zimmerman and Kimberly Bolding, both of Gilbert, and Sheila King of Chillicothe; one brother, Tom Mooney of Davenport, Iowa; and two sisters, Mrs. Larry (Mary Ellen) O'Connell of Hutchinson, Kan., and Mrs. Dick (Barb) Davis of Liburn, Ga.
