Mr. Gordon E. Conley, 20, of 1988 Knoll Road, died Thursday, December 18, 1980 at Blodgett Medical Center in Grand Rapids from injuries sustained in a car accident. He was born July 6, 1960 in Iona, the son of Mitchel and June (Reed) Conley. He attended Lakewood schools. He was employed by General Tire and Rubber Company of Ionia.
Mr. Conley is survived by his parents; four brothers, Joe and David, both of Belding, Maston (Gene) of Ionia and William of Portland; paternal grandfather, Joe Conley of Belding; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 20 from the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel of Lake Odessa. Rev. Carl Houserman officiated. Burial was in Saranac cemetery.
